President Joe Biden addressed U.S. troops stationed near the Polish-Ukrainian border on Friday. The president was in Rzeszow, the largest city in southeastern Poland, to get an on-the-ground look at the refugee crisis created by the war.
Biden visited with members of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and was introduced by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to give some brief remarks.
Biden told the 82nd Airborne they’re going to Ukraine: “You’re going to see when you’re there, you’re going to see women, young people standing in the middle, in the front of a damn tank saying ‘I’m not leaving.‘”
President Biden went on to refer to the “General- Secretary of State” who asked Biden to send “12,000 troops.” He was talking about LloydAustin, the *Secretary of Defense.*
Either President Biden is telling the truth and the plan is to deploy US troops to Ukraine or he’s so mentally incompetent that he can’t be trusted to speak without a written out script.
The soldiers Biden met are among thousands of additional U.S. troops deployed due to Russia’s war in Ukraine and come in addition to thousands deployed on a rotating basis since Russia first invaded Ukraine in 2014.
