Yale Epidemiologist: Hydroxychloroquine could save up to 100,000 lives against Covid
Doctor Harvey Risch, a world class epidemiology professor at Yale School of Public Health, discussed the benefits of hydroxychloroquine and how taking it prophylactically can help the U.S. open back up quicker.
Dr. Risch said hydroxychloroquine could save 75,000 to 100,000 lives if the drug is widely used to treat coronavirus.
Risch lamented that a “propaganda war” is being waged against the use of the drug for political purposes, not based on “medical facts.”
Dr. Risch: At least 2 dozen studies show a 50% or greater reduction in hospitalizations with early use of Hydroxychloroquine. Studies that show a lack of benefit are misdirected.
